West Valley Slammers uses softball as a tool to teach the benefits of an active life and to help youth develop physically and emotionally toward adulthood. Youths learn to set goals, test limits, acquire self discipline, and deal with the ups and down, which are a reflection of life.
Spring Registration has closed. Our teams are completely full. Please continue to check us out for future softball programs. Have a great spring!
Go Slammers!
Congratulations to all our of summer all stars. We a fortunate to have the depth and talent to support seven all star teams this summer. For some teams, the all star campaign began Memorial Day. Our 8U Red, 10B, and 12B teams were all in action in Martinez at the AST Memorial Day Classic. Our 8U Red and 10B teams went undefeated and the girls took home hardware.
The weekend of June 5-6 saw our 12B and 14B girls in Millbrae at the Battle of the Bay and our 8U Red and 8U Blue teams in Campbell at the Butterfly Classic. Our 12B team brought home some hardware, going undefeated on Sunday to win the silver bracket. Our14B team took second place in their first tourney of the season. Once again, our 8U Red team went undefeated to take the Butterfly Championship. A special congratulations to the 8U Blue team's Leah Palacios who was recognized as the most inspirational player at the Butterfly Classic. The award goes to the player who is judged to be the best teammate through their actions over the course of the weekend. Way to go Leah!!
The weekend of June 10-12 saw us defending our home fields with six of our all teams playing in the Slammers hosted Bagby Classic. Two of our teams brought home hardware--congrats to our 10B team for coming in second, and for our 8U Red team for an undefeated weekend, coming in first place. These teams are definitely something special!
Here are a few photos from our opening ceremonies on March 5. We are looking forward to an amazing Spring season!
West Valley Slammers takes safety very seriously. We want our players, volunteers, families, and fans to feel comfortable and secure when they are at our fields. Please take a look at our current COVID protocols. This document below was last updated March 3, 2022. As our public health conditions evolve, you can expect that our safety protocols will also change to adapt to the current conditions that we are experiencing in our community. We appreciate everyone's patience and flexibility as we continue to navigate through these uncertain times.
