West Valley Slammers uses softball as a tool to teach the benefits of an active life and to help youth develop physically and emotionally toward adulthood. Youths learn to set goals, test limits, acquire self discipline, and deal with the ups and down, which are a reflection of life.
Our 2023 Select and All Star teams had loads of fun on the tournament circuit this summer. They traveled locally, regionally, and across the state collecting hardware along the way. Everywhere our WVS teams went they led by example with hard work, team sportsmanship, and enthusiasm for the game. Check out some of the photos from the summer and stay tuned for periodic updates as our Fall Stars season kicks off.
Do you want to really make a difference for your player and their teammates? Do you want to make a positive impact on our league for years to come?
Please consider volunteering your time as a coach for the West Valley Slammers! Most of the equipment you’ll need is provided. We also offer coaching clinics and additional support to make sure you’re successful.
We are always looking for people who want to contribute. Please contact Erin Skarbek at (president@wvslammers.com) or David Ordonez (chiefplayeragent@wvslammers.com) to express your interest.
