West Valley Slammers Mission Statement

West Valley Slammers uses softball as a tool to teach the benefits of an active life and to help youth develop physically and emotionally toward adulthood. Youths learn to set goals, test limits, acquire self discipline, and deal with the ups and down, which are a reflection of life.

On Sunday, May 2nd WVS we held our Annual Hit-a-Thon fundraising event to help support various upgrades to our facilities. This is our largest fundraiser of the year with every dollar raised getting reinvested into our fields and programs.  Select the link in above photo if you'd like to support the league.  Thank you for your support!

Why do we need a fundraiser at all?

WVS works hard to provide the best fields while keeping our registration fees as low as possible. We are 100% responsible for paying all maintenance and upgrade costs to our fields along with paying insurance and permit fees to use the school fields and city practice sites.

What is the money we raise used for?

In addition to the operating costs listed above, the Hit-A-Thon allows WVS to complete large projects. This year we're focusing on our permanent bathroom facilities.

Quakes Fastpitch | 14U and Older Division

Aged out of the WVS Softball program and looking for a place for your 14U and older player?  Check out the Quakes!  Quakes is a collaborative effort among five local leagues for girls in the division 14U and older.  Learn more about the Quakes program   HERE.

For those interested in a more competitive ("A" ball) option for the 14U and older players, take a look at the South Bay Inferno program HERE.
